The embrace project kick-off meeting was held in Treviso (IT), at the premises of the Lead Partner (t2i) on 16th April 2018. Though a new project, the idea behind the embrace project has a story, since its partners collaborated for a long time formulating its aspects. Through the kick-off meeting, partners had the chance to set concrete expectations on the outcomes of the embrace project, mainly coming down to providing real-life advantages to SMEs that will be involved in the project, as well as leveraging the capacity of other stakeholders in the project's area on the field of circular economy.
The Lead Partner gave a taste of the innovative approach for the implementation of the project already from the beggining; partners interacted through a gamification process. Through the meeting it was clear that introducing the principles of circular economy at regional level through the embrace project will follow the same process; the interaction will surpass the "typical" tools and approaches usualy adopted, promoting a strong interaction among partners and all those who will be engaged in the project.
The participation of the Green Growth (horizontal project) in the kick-off meeting enlighted many aspects regarding not only the implementation of activities, but also the realisation of networking and re-inforcing of co-operation among projects.
